Unmatched Comfort
for Every Season

Crafted from Iceland’s Finest Traditions

Every duvet begins its journey in the untouched islands of Breiðafjörður, where eider ducks make their nests. For over a thousand years, Icelanders have worked in harmony with these remarkable birds, gathering their precious down only after the ducklings have left the nest. This ethical practice not only ensures no harm to the birds but also preserves a delicate balance between humans and nature.

More About The Eider

What makes it special

Crafted with pure Icelandic eiderdown, our duvets offer unmatched warmth, ethical sourcing, and timeless quality.

High quality eiderdown

Eiderdown is among the rarest natural materials, with only 4,000 kilograms harvested globally each year—3,000 of which come from Iceland. Wild eider ducks naturally shed this remarkable fiber to warm their eggs, and farmers carefully hand-collect it without causing any harm.

Light, warm, and entirely sustainable, Icelandic eiderdown is a unique luxury born from a centuries-old harmony between nature and tradition.

Sustainably Harvested Eiderdown from Breiðafjörður

Our eiderdown is sustainably harvested from the pristine Breiðafjörður bay, where the untouched coastal landscape provides the perfect environment for eider ducks.

Once harvested, the eiderdown is carefully brought to Stykkishólmur, where skilled artisans transform it into luxurious duvets. In Stykkishólmur, a town known for its rich craftsmanship traditions, each duvet is meticulously crafted, ensuring exceptional quality and comfort.
